This Privacy Policy explains how RealtyScan (“RealtyScan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit realty-scan.com or use our property-analysis services.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: property addresses, listing URLs, property details, investment assumptions, notes, documents, and messages you send us.
- Transaction information: checkout status, amount, transaction identifiers, and limited customer details supplied by Stripe. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
- Usage and device information: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral source, interactions, approximate location, and timestamps.
- Generated content: teaser and report content produced for your request, together with supporting research and service logs.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve property analyses; research the property submitted; process and verify payments; prevent abuse and enforce request limits; maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the service; measure website and advertising performance; communicate with you; comply with law; and protect our users and business.
AI processing and data sources
Property information and instructions may be sent to artificial-intelligence and research service providers to generate the requested analysis. Reports may also use publicly available or licensed third-party data. Coverage, accuracy, and availability vary by property and location. Do not submit confidential personal information that is unnecessary for the analysis.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, including hosting, AI processing, analytics, fraud prevention, and payment providers. Current providers may include Stripe for checkout, Google Analytics for usage measurement, OpenAI for AI-assisted analysis, and our hosting provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use property requests to determine eligibility for credit, housing, insurance, or employment.
Cookies and analytics
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential site functions, security, analytics, and advertising measurement. Google Analytics may receive usage and device information. You can restrict cookies through your browser settings; some functions may then work differently.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver reports, maintain transaction and security records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service. Retention periods vary by data type. You may request deletion, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where legally permitted.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

RealtyScan operates in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
